The host/hostess creates the guests' first and lasting impression. Our host team members are responsible for creating a warm and friendly environment for our guests' dining experience.

Some back-of-house assistance might be needed, such as inspecting/cleaning restrooms.


  • Escort guests to their seats and present them with clean menus in a quick, courteous, and professional manner

  • Maintain a neat, organized front-of-house environment

  • Seat guests and take initial drink orders as needed to ensure ideal speed of service

  • Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work as needed

  • Rotate seating between different stations to ensure even workloads for waitstaff

  • Answer phones and schedule reservations with large parties

  • Take phone reservations and answer customer questions

  • Maintain complete knowledge of the restaurant features, cuisine, general information, and hours of operations

  • Review all reservations and communicate all special requests to managers, servers, and kitchen in a timely manner

  • Assist wait staff as needed

  • Send off guests with a warm and genuine goodbye

  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Perform opening and closing duties as per established guidelines


  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

  • Flexible schedule, particularly for weekend/evening shifts

  • 1+ years customer service experience, preferably in the hospitality industry

  • Ability to work 6+ hours on your feet at a time

  • Advanced time management experience

  • Friendly, open disposition

  • Team player who looks for ways to help out other employees whenever needed
