Father’s Day 2021: Where to Celebrate Dad

TUR Kitchen

The contemporary, ingredient-forward concept located in the heart of Coral Gables is taking families on a culinary journey with a Mediterranean BBQ. From Noon-10PM, for $75 per guests can choose from items from a three-course prix fixe menu ($75++ per person) highlighting various regions throughout the Mediterranean basin.

Choice of desserts are included as well and diners can opt for a Wine Pairing Experience and pair each course with a unique blend of wines ($39 per person) or a Spirit Pairing Experience with a spirit or craft cocktail paired with each course ($45 per person). A Children’s Menu is also available ($25++ per child).


American Social

In honor of all the dad jokes and sage wisdom they’ve shared over the years, it’s time for us to pour them a glass and let them kick up their feet. Available all day, starting at 11AM, find $10 specials on AmSo’s ol’ man classic – The Old Fashioned.


Bodega Taqueria y Tequila


Looking for a special treat for Dad on Father’s Day? Celebrate dad at Bodega South Beach (1220 16th St) or Fort Lauderdale (21 Las Olas Blvd) locations, with their delicious Taco Box and Modelo Special for $10 from 11:30 AM- 6 PM.


Bulla Gastrobar

Treat dad to indulge in authentic Spanish cuisine by bringing him to Bulla Gastrobar in Coral Gables, Doral or The Falls. This year for Father’s Day, Bulla will be opening their doors at 10:00am for brunch, lunch, and dinner, and will be serving customer favorites such as huevos bulla, patatas bravas, tortilla espanola, and paella mixta. Dad’s who decide to dine with Bulla on their special day will also receive a $20 gift card to be used for their next dine visit as well. A special box of chocolate clusters will be gifted to dad on the way out to enjoy.

For those who prefer to stay at home to celebrate Father’s Day have the option to order half or whole cochinillo, to-go, and enjoy the restaurant experience at home! The half cochinillo runs for $199 and serves 6-12 guests while the whole lechon runs for $380 and serves 12-16 guests.

BOURBON Steak

Michael Mina’s award-winning steakhouse inside the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa will be offering a one-night only special to celebrate Dad this Father’s Day. In addition to the restaurant’s acclaimed menu, BOURBON Steak will have specialty Tomahawks and perfectly-crafted Old Fashioned cocktails available on Sunday, June 20, 2021. The Tomahawk steaks for two will be priced at $150 and cocktails will be priced at $12.


Burlock Coast

The rustic seafood eatery Burlock Coast Seafare & Spirits invites dad and his guests to enjoy a decadent Father’s Day Brunch. On Sunday, June 20 from 12PM to 4PM, celebrate with oceanfront views, an a la carte menu and $34 (excluding tax and gratuity) bottomless beverages featuring all of your brunch cocktail favorites and specialty Rum Old Fashioneds. Choose from dishes such as the Meat Lovers and Swiss Omelet, Huevos Rancheros, Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich, the Bootleg Burger and much more.


Café La Trova

For Father’s Day, Café La Trova will offer half-price on their special triple combo, Trio Matamoros: Cruzan Single Barrel rum neat paired with a Cafecito Cubano and a Cigar ($28).

Cerveceria La Tropical

Cuba’s oldest brewery, now Miami’s newest, will be offering a promotion on merchandise and beer from Friday, June 11 through Sunday, June 20. The perfect gifts for the beer-loving dad, all 6-packs To Go, 32oz Crowlers To Go of any beer offered in the tap room, as well as all La Tropical merchandise will be 20% off at the brewery.


COTE Miami

Treat Dad to the gift of COTE this Father’s Daywhere dinner will be served from 5 p.m.- 11 p.m. and where all fathers will receive a jar of COTE’s Signature Gastronome’s Salt™, a proprietary salt blend, carefully composed of British Maldon salt, Himalayan pink salt, and Korean thousand-day sea salt. In honor of this big day, COTE will also be serving the Dad Joke ($15), a refreshing summer shandy blended with Maker’s Mark Bourbon, apricot, lemon, mint, and MIA Weiss.

For those unable to celebrate with Dad in-person this year, COTE will be shipping their “Father’s Day Feast for 4-6” nationally through Goldbelly. Priced at $299, this decadent box (serving 4-6) includes double-cut ribeye, a Niman Ranch beef burger kit for 6, plus their house marinated USDA Prime Short Rib Galbi.


EST.33 Thai Craft Brewery & Kitchen

This Father’s Day, Brickell’s neighborhood brewery EST. 33 Thai Craft Brewery & Kitchen is inviting all dads and along with their families to taste, tour and enjoy a special menu of Southeast Asian flavors paired with American barbeque techniques all day long. Dads will also drink free on Father’s Day and be able to enjoy EST. 33’s craft beers that are brewed in house including the Singha, 33 Pale Ale, Legend Lager, Aromatic Snowy, and more.

Only available for those that make reservations for their family visit. Also, in honor of the holiday, EST. 33 is offering guests a special Father’s Day menu as well as a pre-fixed course menu option to indulge in and the regular a la carte menu offerings.

The Endless BBQ Experience (priced at $75++ per person), offers bottomless barbeque and grill items including the restaurant’s popular Thai Spiced Rubbed Beef Brisket, Thai Lemongrass Smoked Chicken, Chinese Char Siu Pork Ribs, all slow cooked, rotisserie smoked with hickory wood and served with pickles and steamed buns; Beef Skewers with sweet chilli soy; Chicken Thigh Satay with a tamarind peanut jam; Jumbo Shrimp Sewers in a tomato massaman glaze; Sweet Corn in Thai citrus herb butter; and Mushrooms in Thai lemongrass butter.

Also on deck is a Pre-Fixed Course Menu ($55++ per person) that includes the guests choice of one appetizer, grilled item, smoked item served with a side, and dessert. Diners can also enjoy a live piano session playing everyone’s favorite classics on Father’s Day from 3-7PM.


Fireman Derek’s Bake Shop

This Father’s Day, celebrate Dad with Fireman Derek’s June offering: Pecan Bourbon Pie ($7.50 per slice/ $38 per pie). Made with FD’s original graham cracker crust and a glorious filling of eggs, butter, vanilla, sugar, plus the addition of sweet and oaky Bulleit Rye. Fireman Derek’s elevates this classic pecan pie recipe even further by sourcing their pecans from a family-owned farm based out of South Carolina. The Pecan Bourbon Pie will be available all throughout the month of June 2021.


Jaya at The Setai

Jaya at The Setai, helmed by Executive Chef Vijayudu Veena, will offer a Father’s Day brunch on Sunday, June 20 from 11:30AM until 4PM. Priced at $145 per person (excluding tax and gratuity); and $65 per child ages 5-12 (excluding tax and gratuity), brunch will feature endless pours of champagne, mimosas and Bloody Marys alongside a lavish buffet of culinary delights, with the numerous stations served by restaurant staff.

Brunch highlights include a full raw bar filled with fresh oysters, crab legs and more; Asian and Indian speciality dishes including Butter Chicken, Lamb Samosas, Masala Fish and Pad Thai; and BBQ & Grilled Meats including Five Spice Lamb Ribs, Truffle Roasted Chicken, BBQ Pork Baby Back Ribs and Roasted Hereford Prime NY Strip.

Father’s Day activations during brunch will include a Live Grill BBQ station in the Courtyard; Live Jazz by Yamit and the Vinyl Blvd and Ben Beal; craft beer from Wynwood Brewing Co.; specialty gifts for Dad including Men’s Care items from The Setai’s Valmont Spa and a signature spice oil signed by Chef Vijay.


Le Zoo

Transport Dad to the idyllic sidewalk cafes of Southern France on Father’s Day by stopping by Le Zoo Bal Harbour. Some special offerings one can indulge in on this special day include a prestige plateau filled with a chilled tower of oysters, seafood, lobster, and crab, a 42oz porterhouse steak with bearnaise sauce, and a chocolate layer cake with drizzled caramel cognac sauce.


Lure Fishbar

Toast to Dad this Father’s Day Weekend with Cheers to the Sea, the restaurant’s decadent seafood tower and champagne offer. Priced at $199, treat Dad to Lure’s Plateau Royale, featuringAlaskan King Crab, Seafood Salad, Tuna Tartare, a half-pound of lobster, 8 oysters, 6 shrimp, 6 clams, 6 crab claws and a bottle of Veuve Clicquot.


Marea 1939

Guests are invited to celebrate Father’s Day at the newly opened Marea 1939 spanish restaurant located at the National Hotel Miami Beach. From 12 p.m.- 4 p.m., the indoor and outdoor dining restaurant will feature a special Father’s Day a la carte brunch menu with dishes including Huevos Rotos with Fried Eggs, French Fries and Iberico Ham; Seafood Paella with Scallops, Mussels, Clams & Shrimp as well as sharing plates with selections like Patatas Bravas; Grilled Spanish Chorizo and Spanish Octopus, to name a few. Beverage options include unlimited brunch cocktails and specialty prices beers and spitzers. As a gift, all dads will also receive one complimentary bottle of Fernet Branca amaro.


Morton’s The Steakhouse

Morton’s The Steakhouse will offer a delicious 2-course land and sea menu to celebrate the best dad around for $79 person on Sunday, June 20.

Guests can enjoy their choice of a mouth-watering entrée option including 8 oz. Center-Cut Filet Mignon, 16 oz. Double-Cut Pork Chop or 8 oz. ‘Manhattan Cut’ Strip Steak, paired with a signature side item dish – Each entrée includes a Cold-Water Lobster Tail baked with Herbed Garlic Butter. To conclude the meal, guests can select a delightful, handmade dessert of Key Lime Pie, New York Cheesecake or Morton’s Legendary Hot Chocolate Cake.


Makoto

This Father’s Day, take Dad to shop at Bal Harbour Shops followed by lunch or dinner at Makoto Bal Harbour. This year, Makoto will be offering two different specials for Dad to indulge in. The first, salmon ramen prepared with cream, ikura, and chashu salmon. The second special, a bone-in pork katsu with red miso and pickled daikon salad.


Navé

Chef Michael Beltran’s chic Coconut Grove eatery Navé is inviting diners to celebrate Father’s Day with delectable dinner specials. Available only on Sunday, June 20, specialty dishes include Swordfish Piccata – turnip soubise, charred baby turnips, roasted garlic butter, capers; and a succulent Porchetta – caramelized fennel purée, rapini pesto, caponata pavè.

In addition to the specials, the restaurant’s a la carte dinner menu will be on offer with fan favorites like the Snapper Milanese – tomato compote, olive tapenade, baby arugula; Veal Parmesan – tomato, mozzarella, little gem salad; and Whole Roasted Fish. Of course, house-made pastas and fresh raw bar selections will also be available. Sunday Dinner is served from 6PM – 10PM.


OLA Miami

If you’re looking to enjoy Latin American Cuisine this Father’s Day try OLA Miami, an elegant restaurant located at the Gates Hotels in Miami Beach. In honor of Father’s Day, they are offering a NY Steak Strip Special ($52), which is a play on the traditional Cuban sandwich called “Pan Con Bistec.“

Made with a NY strip steak, chimichurri sauce, micro green heirloom tomato salad, queso fresco, and moscatel vinaigrette on freshly-baked focaccia bread, this open-faced take on a steak sandwich is the perfect dish for dad’s to indulge in.

Diners can also feast on regular dinner menu items that highlight traditional Latin American specialties such as Pollo Criollo ($36), a Peruvian mint marinated Jidori chicken, served oversweet potato gnocchi, with ají amarillo sauce, walnut pesto and mushrooms escabeche; or the Lamb ($46), hazelnut crusted full rack of lamb with roasted beets, goat cheese truffle, mashed potato and lamb demi.


PINCHO

In celebration of Father’s Day, PINCHO, the beloved fast-casual concept, is launching the new version of its specialty crafted 627 Lager, an on-tap Mexican-style beer brewed exclusively for PINCHO by M.I.A Beer Company. Perfect for the hot summer days ahead, the 627 Lager is brewed with premium Pilsen malts and pairs exceptionally with PINCHO’s variety of eclectic menu items.

On Sunday, June 20, PINCHO will launch the 627 Lager at eight locations in Miami-Dade and Broward and will be kicking off the launch with $2 beers all-day with purchase of a meal, because fathers deserve their own beer special on Father’s Day. The promotion is limited to two beers per person.
