This October, bars across South Florida will demonstrate their strong community values by expressing pink pride for Breast Cancer Awareness month. From donating a portion of proceeds to important causes to curating Breast Cancer Awareness inspired drinks and events to empower women and their businesses, these bars spread awareness by spreading joy.
Throughout the month of October for Breast Cancer Awareness, TUR Kitchen will offer guests it’s Mediterranean Tea cocktail. The Mediterranean-inspired concept has partnered up with Jackson Memorial’s Sylvester Cancer Center and will donate 10% of all its pink-drink sales to the organization. For the month of October, Bodega Taqueria y Tequila with locations in South Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and Aventura, will have available their frozen drinks in a limited-edition stadium cup for $9. For the month of October, Warren, Damn Good Hospitality’s newest hotspot in Delray Beach, Florida, will be donating $1 from every Dianne’s Delight cocktail sold to the Susan G. Komen foundation. Miami’s iconic downtown hotel, InterContinental Miami, is going pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. On October 1, the hotel will commemorate Breast Cancer awareness in a big way when the exterior digital canvas illuminates the Miami skyline in pink to display a 36-foot digital Pink Ribbon that will be on display throughout the entire month of October.
In addition, visitors can follow the hotel’s interior pink lighting to Toro Toro, chef/restaurateur Richard Sandoval’s Pan-Latin steakhouse located on the lobby level of the property. To commemorate October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Pubbelly Sushi is pleased to announce the “Drink Pink” fundraiser to benefit Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. – 2 oz pineapple juice
– 2 oz Condensed Coconut Milk
– 2 scoops of Strawberry Ice-cream
– 2 cups of Ice
– Garnish: Pineapple Frans, Strawberry Slices, Toasted Coconut Flakes.
